Can I make a claim for electrical faults?

Electrical faults are not covered by your policy. See your policy booklet for a list of all damage that isn't covered. Other types of common damage not covered include:

- Wear and tear

- Depreciation

- Any mechanical, electrical or computer breakdowns, failures, faults or breakages

- Cyber attack and events

- Damage to tyres caused by braking, kerbing, punctures, cuts or bursts

However, if you chose to add on Breakdown cover, you will be able to use this to recover your car from the roadside following a breakdown.
