What extra insurance cover will there be for my electric car?

Within your insurance policy we have included cover specific to electric cars. We have included power cable cover and liability for others when charging your car.

If you have the optional RAC breakdown cover, they can provide assistance if you run out of charge, The RAC will take you and your vehicle to the closest charge point.

We also understand that your car is part of your everyday life and you couldn’t imagine being without it. As part of the optional car hire cover - If your car is stolen and not recovered or we agree with you that it is a total loss, you’ll get a similar type and sized hire car by the end of the next working day for up to 21 days whilst we sort out your claim. This includes electric and hybrid cars subject to availability
