You can claim for escape of water due to damage as a result of water escaping from water tanks, pipes, fixed equipment, any domestic appliance or fixed heating systems, or as a result of water freezing in water tanks, equipment or pipes.

If you have an escape of water claim of over £10,000, you will receive an endorsement at your next renewal to increase the escape of water excess to £1,000, but this will decrease to £450 if an approved water cut-off device is installed in your property.
